For the price, they're great "bang em around" toys for my kids to play with, while also having enough articulation to keep my younger kid satiated. He loves "posing" his toys lol

I got Shadow about a month ago and he's really REALLY solid. These might be the best Sonic figures to date EDIT: To answer the question of the day, initially I wasn't into the movies but now I feel like I've done a 180 and I like them more than the recent games. Same with the figures, I was a little put off by the textured fur, being more acclimated towards the smooth look with some floofs here and there (Shadow's chest, Tails' cheeks) but having Shadow in hand, I might have to seek out the others, these figs are insane for the price

I got sonic and tails. Im a 40 year old man that got sonic 2 for Christmas 1992 and havnt put them down. I dreamt figures like these as a kid.

Great review and figure. I saw these figures at the store last week and was impressed by just looking at them in the package. I'm a casual Sonic fan but have enjoyed the games since the genesis days and like the live action films

The fact this 15 dollar figure has a more detailed sculpt and more paint on it than your average Marvel Legends figure is kind of astonishing. It just shows the lack of effort Hasbro puts into ML. Sure the paint could be cleaner but for 15 dollars it's clean enough, can't complain there.

Big fan of Sonic in general. Been playing the games since the Genesis. I like the movies but its always the human characters that make it uninteresting. The Knuckles show was horrible when he wasn’t on screen. I really want these figures but the way those pupils are cut is a deal breaker for me

I picked the 4 pack up with Sonic, Shadow, Tails and Knuckles for £25, Sonic and Shadow have a light up effect in the box set, dread to think what hasbro would add on to the price for that gimick. I had no great expectations for them at that price, however they are a great little set, just picked up Super Sonic to add to them. well worth the price even at the £15 each in the UK.

i really enjoy the movies. i understand the compromises that are made because at the end of the day these are for children and i want as many people around the world to enjoy what i love so that we keep getting better sonic content beyond the movies! great review as always anthony, been a fan since i was in 4th grade back in 2011, and i look forward to each new vid

I’ve not found it in stock yet but I’ll see at mass retailers. Looks like the sleeper hit if not the best figure value per dollar aside from Jada. And Jakks hasn’t done good stuff like this in a while.

There's been different releases for this figure, like the 4 pack, the one that comes with the bike, and wave 2. They did fix the eyes on one of them, but sorry I don't remember which one. It's good that not every Shadow is like that though.

I like the movies well enough. Would have preferred they kept the voice actors from the games and cartoons though. At least they kept Tails' VA, she's the most important one, along with Amy if she shows up 😂 Design wise, I prefer smooth fur over the fuzzy for details from the movies.

Unsolicited scale math! There's no official height for Movie Shadow, probably because the sizes of the Mobian characters in the movies are inconsistent from scene to scene [god forbid AAA studios ever keep their CGI characters in scale I guess?]. But, going of stats from the games, Shadow is around 3'3/exactly 100cm tall [same height as Sonic]. Judging by the curve of the forehead/top-quill, the angle the head was posed in when you measured and the way Sonic characters are usually drawn, we can assume the 'real height(?)' is around 13cm give-or-take a few mm, so we could assume this figure scales in at 1:7.7 (13 x 7.7 is 100.1). You could probably fudge the scale and round up to 1:8 scale... if 1:8 was a scale people usually make figures at. Going off Sonic's height in the movies, that jumps between 1ft-2ft/30.5cm-61cm depending on the scene, it's more likely that this figure is at 1:4.7 scale instead (13 x 4.7 = 61.10), a little too tall for 1:5 but again you could probably fudge it... again, if 1:5 wasn't a weird scale nobody uses all that often

I am not a huge sonic game fan but i have played a few ans enjoyed them to varying degrees. I thought the first movie was alright but could not stand the 2nd, seemed to be catering mainly to younger kids

i just hate that they changed the scale from the second movie figures and now theyre re-releasing all the figures in the new scale and theyre $5 more than the last time. the figure is amazing no doubt but still a shitty thing to happen :/

So saw this one…..didn’t get it when I did regretting the hell outta it. I picked up the one that comes with the motorcycle thinking I’d just pay a pit more for it to have the figure ….DON’T😳. It’s terribly articulated no ankle rocker no hand joints or butterfly joint and torso articulation 🤔. It’s Just a worst figure, But There a scaled Bike I guess 😂.

I'm a fan of many Sonic games, but I have no interest in the movies. My children love the movies.
