Love the new articulation but I'd rather not commit to a whole new scale when I've already based my sonic collection over the 4 inch line so I'm only going to pick up eggman. If you start selling kits to turn the 4 inch movie 2 sonic figure into a movie shadow and movie super shadow I'd buy it in a heartbeat

I've never been super interested in the movie stuff but I may pick up Sonic & Shadow because these figures are surprisingly well made, almost on the same level as figuarts when it comes to pose-ability.

While I'm still mildly annoyed that there won't be a 4" Movie Shadow to go with my Movie 2 figures, I really like the looks of these. Much better use of the 5" scale than the Prime figures. The eyes are reused from the Mario Movie figures and if I’m being completely honest the illusion works better on those figures but it still looks on the Sonic figures.

I mean, the articulation works here because the fur texture hides the joints a little bit. I really don't want to see crazy articulation on the mainline figures because it would ruin the cartoony sculpt they have going on (also I think it's too late to make such a drastic change to that line). Don't get me wrong, articulation is great and all, but I don't want the sculpt to get compromised like the Jazwares figures did.

Chaos shows you can do super possible 4 inch figures and still be sturdy. They just need elbow joints and we're good
