Its a pity there is no English translation but then its also a pity (Which has always been my basic point) that there is no fully complete documentation on Odds process available by Odd who happens to be alive. A fully academic comparison with Odd and Rembrandt and Caravaggio would be useful especially if it went into the technical analysis information. Going by the images only it looks like a comparison with the old masters mentioned followed by the shift in handling that can happen in the late work of accomplished artists, any critique for or against whether Odd has arrived at this convincingly is limited by the limited curation of information and lack of high resolution images which are easily achievable with todays technology.
