Tha's a groundbreaking work. Considering the entire history of castrati singers and the recordings we currently have available, the quality of this work is terrifying. I always hoped to listen to a work in which I could feel the RESPONSIBILITY that comes with going up on a scenic stage knowing that you are playing the god of music. Here we are. Orfeo is a mythological hero whose heroic act consists of loving. And in this recording we can feel everything that this implies: the agony, the despair, the certainty, the grief. 10/10.

Sounds like a wonderful album! I want to congratulate the singer for their very, very, very good Italian diction, which is more than rare. I know that from time to time it is necessary to change slightly how singers pronounce certain syllables in order to have a certain colour or soften a difficult passage and, because of that, their pronunciation sounds natural, flowing and convincing, at least to me as a former opera singer from Italy. Good work to all involved and best wishes for success!
