He is not usually on ball like this Fred vanfleet was out so he had the ball a lot more. When Fred comes back he will not be allowed to showcase this.

@@destroycovidCleo Last year? We on this year tho it’s more tha fvv, they have a proven coach now THAT is the main reason. Fred is literally shooting 38% from the field.. Other players also improved in a lot of ways, added some productive vetrains and Jalen improved in some areas as well. He got his first game with the offense really being ran thru him and he was hyper efficient and amazing passing. That is improvement better than he looked in games last year being ran thru him. They lost this time but it’s not like it’s an easy matchup they got Murray back too.

I know he is inconsistent but I still believe his ceiling is so high, he splits the pick and roll like the greats, has great flow, I think he will come around. He should so thankful to Udoka, he could have easily have gone the Rudy Gay route

@@bigradwolf5001 green is better than them in every way he averaged 22 points last season for Coach that they had no offensive scheme whatsoever and he’s still getting use to knowing when it says, turn the score in when it’s his turn, the light Fred Vanvleet or brooks score but wouldn’t be surprised if you have a 23 points this season on 44/37/80 splits

In this game I realized how important FVV is for this team... Jalen green is inadequate and inconsistent. While watching this game, I saw last year's Houston. Jalen Green was terrible until the 3rd quarter. Also, he is not a team player. He had a momentary explosion in the 3rd quarter, but don't let that fool you.

He did not show any improvement. He did what he needed to do throughout the game in the third quarter. Don't let the stats fool you. Very inconsistent player.

Jalen's offensive performance this year has been inconsistent; but he's gone from a 1st option to a 3rd option, and he's being charged with giving more effort on the defensive side. Since Jalen doesn't possess the highest BBIQ, it's going to take him a while to adjust and figure out where he fits on this team. He might not ever be the all-star caliber player we were hoping for; but he's developing into a more well-rounded player, and that's good for the team. It's going to be growing pains for this team all year. Coach Udoka will certainly have his work to do.

That's my thought. He could only score when defense relaxes due to them being down. The one team he plays well against was Lakers and even that he played terrible his last game against them.
