The league is the cause for Jalen having anew coordinator every year. All it takes is for a coordinator to have a ONE good season and here come the other organizations beating down the door throwing HC jobs in their faces. The league should create a rule against this somehow.

You have a good point. All teams have to do is put their OCs under contracts with terms negotiated up front that the OC can’t leave for an HC job while under contract. But teams like being able to fire coaches. Some OCs might not accept terms making them stay but putting it in the contract for those who do accept will solve the problem. Also, theoretically teams can keep the same playbook & promote from within instead of hiring OCs who insist upon a whole new offense. The 2022 Eagles were excellent so not sure why they couldn’t keep the playbook & terminology for a new OC. You’re right that changing to a new offense is a big deal. It usually takes most of a season for the QB to really get comfortable running it. I’m amazed that a team & its HC wouldn’t do everything it could to have an OC who would adapt himself to run that offense rather than switching to a new offense.

To those who are reacting the way Shaun king is about Jalen's comments about having to learn something new; you are telling on yourselves. More likely than not, these same people struggled throughout school, and in life to learn and retain information; for that reason they become nervous when it is suggested that they have to learn something new. Right after Jalen talked about there being "a lot of inventory in" and about the "95%" he literally said it's been "a fun process" and that the offseason has been about "learning". Please stop allowing your fear of learning, and change drive your thoughts and feelings. If you are one of the people that this applies to, please know that you are not alone, and it's okay that you don't learn at the same rate as others. Jalen will be just fine. The only thing he was saying is that there has been a lot of information to learn in a little bit of time, and that it has been challenging; but he's up for the challenge.....that's it and that's all.

Installed a new offense because Brian Johnson wasn't that great, seemingly. Even though they put up an average 25 or so points the 1st half of the year last year. The eagles need to take a page out of the Patriots book when Brady was there. Get an old (but very good) OC who doesn't care about being a HC.
