I'M A LOCAL 90$ RAP RADIO LEGEND FROM D-TOWN AS WELL (ALMOST 43 NOW) & FROM THE EASTSIDE (WHICH WAS WAAAY HARDER THAN MOST OF JALEN'S NORTHWEST SIDE OF TOWN BACK THEN) & WAS THE MAIN D-BOY SIDE OF TOWN BACK THEN TOO!!! AND EVEN THOUGH THAT STATEMENT HE MADE APPLIED TO MOST YOUNG NIGGAZ/BROZ BACK THEN, I WAS ONE OF THE RAREST TEENAGE EXCEPTIONS WHO LITERALLY CHANGED THE GAME BACK THEN BY BEING THE ONLY LOCAL RADIO GANGSTA RAP TEENAGE MEGASTAR (FO' REAL!!!) THAT ANYBODY WHO KNEW ME BACK THEN HAD EVER KNOWN OF HERE, BUT WAS HEAVILY GANG AFFILIATED W/ PROBABLY THE BIGGEST GANG ON THE EASTSIDE BACK THEN (G.D.'S) UNTIL WE HAD FELL OUT W/ EACH OTHER FOR A MINUTE... BUT, TO MAKE A LONG STORY A LIL' LONGER, I WAS ROCKING OUT FOR AROUND 3 YEARS ON THE RADIO AS THE HOTTEST AMATEUR RAPPER HERE BACK THEN (W/ NO ALBUM) ON THE MAIN RAP RADIOSTATION BACK THEN (WJLB), AND WAS LIVING IN AN OUTSKIRT HOOD W/ BLK & WHT TEENZ GOING APESH!T SH!TZ OVER ME!!! AND, THE WHTYE TEENZ WHO HAD FRIENDS OUT IN A NEARBY RICH SUBURB (THE RICHEST ONE ON THE EASTSIDE HERE) HAD CONNECTED ME TO THE COMMUNITY JOB WISE AND HOUSE PARTY WISE, IN WHICH I WAS THE ONLY RAPPER I HAD KNOWN OF THEN FROM HERE WHO WAS PARTYING IN MANSIONS (AS A TEENAGER!!!), F#CKING RICH CHICKS, AND STILL KILLING IT RAPPING ON THE RADIO ALL AT THE SAME TIME WHILE THEN BEEFING W/ REAL G'S, BUT STILL GROWING BIGGER STATUS WISE WHILE GETTING IT IN, IN THE HOOD & BURBS!!! AND, WHILE BEING THE 1ST MEGASTAR RAPPER ON THE RADIO HERE TO EVER BE CALLED "MONEY" (SINCE '94) WHILE BEING THE MOST PROFANE & CENSORED (EVEN COMPARED TO ALL OF THE NATIONWIDE RAPPERS THE I HEARD BACK THEN!!!)!!!! #FROMTHEREALESTTALKINVENTOR!!!

@mobetta2092
@mobetta2092 5 жыл бұрын
@@Userahdgd the U of M and the rest of the NCAA can figure it out since the agreed with the "brilliant idea" of erasing the books. If nothing, donate an equal amount of the generated revenue to charities with no affiliation to NCAA and without the benefit of later gaining a tax relief. This would give their decision to erase the books credibility.

The whole concept of erasing wins is so stupid to me. It doesn’t really mean anything, especially for the players & coaches that won those games & the fans that witnessed it. You can’t really take that away no matter what you say

Unbelievable about the NCAA and their BS. And it's not just D1. I was told that because I had won money in Dunk Contests in my playing days, just to insure my eligibility at a NCAA D2 school , I would need to work for that amount of money I won, and donate it to a charitable organization. And when I asked why, who's going to know?! The assistant coach told me, "You never know if any other College Coaches may have been at the event, and remembers seeing you in it and excepting prize money and report it.

Being from Detroit the bullshit that went down when everyone in the city knew Ed Martin. This only happened because he was black. The man didn't even go to U of M. We have alot of people who love U of M sports and never attended there. That's why I attended an HBCU. Michigan did those guys wrong and made millions. Chris Webber was the star and I wish he went somewhere else looking back how this all played out. Glad he became successful in the end because he was a smart kid. Nobody talked about the $20k a year school that he went to for high school. Oh because it was a scholarship. Detroit Country Day is expensive for most people from the hood. Jalen went to public all his life just like the rest of the Fab 5 players. The NCAA should restore their records because the case was a shame.

They only investigated this because it was all brothers on one team who were Rock Stars, and by the way the school made alot of money off these players, show us your books Michigan while we're on the subject of money fucking crooks, to all my black athletes take your talents to an HBCU and turn down these other universities.

Chris Webber made the whole lure of the Fab5 more awkward and cringe than it needs to be. He’s the only person making it weird

Jalen Rose is not really answering the question. 1. You have to justify the prior relationship. 2. Notice he did not address large amounts of money. He is talking boots and pizza.

He's a drug dealer, you win games he sponsor's you. When you get big shoot him something on his investment and invite him to games. That's usually how the relationship goes. Probably don't want to put the man's business in the streets or fuck it up for some of the guys getting paid this way today

The real difference between Shaq and Chris Webber. Shaq takes accountability from his own actions and didn’t point the fingers at his teammates after the Magic got swept by the Rockets during the 1995 finals despite having great stats throughout the series holding his own vs Hakeem. Shaq just claims he needs to try harder and raise his level of play by dominating more. Webber on the other hand never holds responsibility from his own actions, blames the refs for the Kings losing the 2002 WCF, blames his Fab 5 teammates making him call timeout during the 1993 NCAA title game and refused to pay back Ed Martin after he made he donated him so much money to him during hard times. He even lied to the Grand Jury that he was never involved with the man which soured his relationship with Jalen Rose, who unlike Webber told the truth about his involvement with Ed Martin. Webber is narcissistic loser while Shaq is a mature winner.
