So I'm crying. Jalex is somewhat special to me, I have memories of it from years ago. On the day that Alex and Lisa got married, I tried so hard to be happy for them but I really couldn't. Jack and Aled are such good friends and it hurts me to see them almost drifting apart like this. Love or not, there is affection between them, they seem to really, truly care. I love Jalex. Long live their strong friendship.

As a fan, you should be happy for him. Jalex obviously isn't real. Some people take shipping too seriously tbh. It's supposed to be fun, not genuinely believing deep in your heart that it's real. :) I ship everyone in the band together tbh, like I ship every ship. But that doesn't mean I can't also love Lisex and Riassadee bc shipping is just fun. It confuses me how some people don't seem to be able to discern between reality and fantasy. Sure, the guys are super close and pertain to ships a lot but that still doesn't mean they're actually gay for each other. What is real is Alex is married to a wonderful woman who he's loved since high school and has survived a lot with. I've loved ATL for nearly 5 years and in that time, I have never seen Alex as happy as he is right now. He may not always show it but he loves Lisa and I can tell she loves him too. I know that you don't mean anything truly bad by this comment and I'm glad that you aren't one of those crazy "fans" that hate on Lisa but I still don't think it's good to not be happy for them on the basis of a ship. I don't think that's a healthy way to think about your idols (I know that tone can be hard to detect online so just know that I'm calm. Not trying to insult you or yell at you or anything, just putting in my thoughts).
