Your review of this product is one of the best I've seen. I have been a fan of Danessa Myricks forever! I got excited about this palette when I seen the color story and just ordered it lol! It took me a little time to work with it. One thing that anyone that purchases this palette should be aware of is that it is NOT a high pigment palette it is a BUILDABLE palette. I can be a little heavy handed with my application, so I can appreciate this formulation. It gives me more control. This palette is great for achieving soft glam looks with ease. I hope Danessa puts out more demos on ways to use it.

Hey Lori, does this inspire you to push or change your technique? I’m trying to watch as many people using this as possible. I’ve seen some people struggle and some people thrilled by how easy it is to use. I think some of the professionals and beauty influencers have the most trouble. All those efficiency tricks seem to foul up “the process”. You look gorgeous by the way. I bought this and received it yesterday. I’m just starting to play with it. I think that this is making me adjust my cosmetic philosophy. You do the skincare, establish a foundation, lay down the groundwork and then, if you wish, you polish and shine. Add more colour and and sparkle if you want to achieve full glamour. You can lay down the groundwork for a subtle everyday polish, a soft glamour or you can sculpt and draw an editorial or full on glamour look.

Yes, in away, because it's so different from what I have in my collection. It gives me so many different ways to use this palette. I can sculpt, layer, mix colors and like you said glam up or tone down a look. It has made playing in makeup exciting. I'm glad is though outside of the box and gave us something different to play with. Tfw 💜

Hello Excellent video! I'm not a makeup professional! I bought Danessa's Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Universal and I confess that it was the best purchase I made last year! It makes a huge difference in how long my makeup lasts since I have very oily skin! I already bought the Universal one again, yes second pack, and I also bought Ummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder in color 2 to use as a foundation. I'm analyzing the launch of this Groundwork palette and I also think it will be much more useful and versatile for makeup professionals. However, I want to purchase it with the idea that it would be good for correcting discolorations and skin blemishes (as a corrector) and as a concealer for dark circles and an eye primer. In your experience, do you think that the texture of the ointment and powder can also be used in this sense of correction and not just as a contour? Thanks! Maria

Hey how are you? When I used the palette I was able to see the pigmentation. It's not one of those palette that have a lot of pigmentation when you first apply it. It a buildable formula, which I like so II can control the intensity of my look. I hope this was helpful. Tfw 💜

THE reason i wont get this pallete is because my skin is brown with a lot of yellow golden base, and needs color not more brown/grey tonedbrown on it that wont even show up. Now On caucasian or fairer skin all these colors will compliment them because they create a coontrast so well. danessa should make a black skin version with more richer deep rusty browns, coppers, mustard, redish brown FOR DEEP MELANIN SKIN BECAUSE GREY BASE makes brown skin girls look sick. and thats what this neutral pallete is giving
