Nintendo had their "Seal of Quality", but the real seal of quality was the Neo Geo marquee. They were pretty much guaranteed top quality games. Worst case scenario it'd be a "just ok" puzzler or generic (but still solid) SF2-alike, but most of the time they'd be among the very best games in any arcade. My personal favorites are the oddballs people don't necessarily think of when they think Neo Geo, like Windjammers, Super Dodge Ball, Shock Troopers 2, Matrimelee, and Sengoku 3. Their seal of quality was real as well, Nintendo rarely slapped that sticker on something that sucked, you can't just base the whole thing on arcade perfect, there's more to a game than that.

Neo #1, such superb games in their library. I am amazed how many fighters they had at the time. Galaxy fight one of my favourites. Had a blast playing that. Definitely revisiting a lot of their games.

One person had it that my friends and I knew about back in the early 90’s, and he really did own one. It was amazing to see in person, and we all lusted after owning our own Neo-Geo consoles. That system must have been the rarest one to exist in the wild. I cannot recall a single store that sold it or the games.

I love Neo Geo and I Always wanted a neo Geo arcade cabinet. Neo Geo was way ahead of it's time and was the first arcade cabinet to play multiple games. We had 3 or more games to choose from which consists of great hits such as metal slug and puzzle bobble and King Of Fighters etc.. i wonder how much the machines cost?
