Jalsa (Thriller) Movie Explained In Hindi | 2022 | Vidya Balan, Shefali Shah

Those who have seen Amitabh Bachhan saab's Badla may find some similarities with the plot, a hit and run and a counter revenge but in Jalsa the climax justifies the Gandhian philosophy, an eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind. You cannot call it a thriller that takes you on a roller coaster ride but the story and the brilliant performances keeps you very much engaged. I wonder why a great actor like Manav Kaul accepted this role as Vidya Balan's husband. He is just an extra in the movie. Vidya Balan as a celebrity Journalist who is at the peak of her career and a divorced wife with a specially abled child has delivered a wonderful performance. Shefali Shah the underrated actress after her excellent contribution in Delhi Crime as a disciplinary cop and a cold blooded ambitious bitchy entrepreneur in Human deserves a standing ovation for her outstanding performance in Jalsa. Vidya Balan's kid who is also specially abled in real life too steals the show. It is the climax which actually leaves you stunned and speechless. You know what's coming and you pray to god please god please don't let it happen. There is no better revenge than forgiveness is the moral of the story. This is no ordinary movie. A must must watch👌.

To all the people who are trying to correct/insult this man, calling him insensitive. As a doctor, I can affirm he is not wrong in using that term as, he is referring to an older term used even in medical fraternity. As the time changes, we learn to improve and same thing happened with this term "physically handicapped" and now it is called " Physically disabled", to not sound insensitive. Most of the time people are not aware of such things, and if you have the knowledge then share it with humility. Being knowledgeable doesn't give you rights to dismiss or insult anyone. I am 100% sure, none of you knows everything 100%. Be nice people.

Hi @Story Explain : You have mentioned twice the character "Ayush" as " Physically Abnormal", "Physically Handicapped". But you have ignored how sensitive and mature he is. If you watch the movie closely, you can understand. I request you , not to use these kind of insensitive and impolite words for a sensitive differently abled person s. I hope you will understand. His vocab is on point for the narration. 'Your mentality' towards his approach of narration is that which is more abnormal than the 'physical abnormalities' of the actor.
