Homemade Apricot Jam with high fruit content 🍑 and less sugar. No preserving sugar (jam sugar), no pectin. List of Ingredients ➡ video description!
Since I didn`t manage to film a larger amount while preparing it, I used 1 lb (500 gr) of apricots in this video. You can easily multiply the amount of ingredients. Instead of apricots, you can also use peaches, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, etc.
Since no preservatives are used here, it´s better to fill the jam into rather small jars and use it as soon as possible after opening. I use my jam as a spread as well as filling for biscuits or cake glaze.
If you want to make the jam even thicker or firmer, you can either add pectin or let the jam simmer longer than I did in the video.
Ingredients for approx. 2 lb (1000 gr) jam:
2 lb (1000 gr) apricots
2 cups (400 - 450 gr) sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
