There was a lot dancers, professional ones, in that room. People are *maybe* just desensitized from it now regardless of who was dancing because they’ve seen it all already during their professional career(s) atp. As much as they don’t verbally and/or physically show their amusement/enjoyment, I’m pretty sure they were impressed by JR anyways. I think the reactions you are used to seeing was reactions from non professional dancers (aka regular people/fans) during a concert or something 😅 /nm /pos

Like the comment that quoted another user’s comment said, the crowd’s reaction is the most genuine reaction that you can get from literally a room filled to the brim with professional dance battlers with a lot of famous people aside from Kirsten or any of the JR girlies. And please do not say anything about the reactions from SWF2. And that’s because it’s a tv show, it’s bound to have exaggerated reactions because of editing anyways. But put jam republic or any other professional dancer in a room filled with beginners or regular audience, and only then you’ll have your ears bursting from the screaming 😆 In short, there IS energy from the crowd. It’s just that everyone has already seen so many amazing dances during their career that they’re *somewhat* desensitized to it. That OR the camera mic didn’t pick up how loud the event was IRL for JR’s dance segment. /nm /pos

When you perform on a crowd of dancers whose mostly battlers.. then this is the realest reactions you can get. ✌️ I think battlers, as their skills suggested, are more impressed on impromptu dances and not the rehearsed ones. Still, these queens did fired up that battle floor and filled every corners of it with their presence - proving they're one of the hottest dopest entertainers in the global dance industry these days.

"battlers" need to get their heads out of their asses with the pettiness.. good dancing whether choreographed or not, shouldn't be devalued with stank faces as some weird means to protect so called purity of improvised dance. choreography isn't somehow lesser, it is totally relevant to art - both culturally, institutionally, and historically. it is also the basis of how dance as an art form has thrived and grown with humanity and been passed down.
