@@splash_gnr nothing with the appetite burst. I’m not particularly a slash fan but I liked the colour and zebra pickups. And I’ve been in a guitar buying mood so I was starting to run out of epiphone options. I like it. It’s got a little bite a little edge, but it doesn’t sound as good as yours. nice playing mate. I got one question tho, do you record the guitar directly from the usb to the pc? If that's the case, can you use the Asio4All to rec the amp without too much latency? I mean can you record whilst comfortable listening yourself?
@splash_gnr3 жыл бұрын
I record the guitar ditectly from the USB to the PC. During recording, you can hear the live sound coming out of the amp itself and I mute the armed track in Reaper so I don’t hear an echo of the guitar. Thus, there is actually no latency issue.
@slandrix52403 жыл бұрын
@@splash_gnr Thanks! Let me see if I got it clear, you can mute the guitar track on the DAW and hear it through the amp? Apart of that, the echo that you mean is the latency between the guitar audio coming out from the DAW and the amp at the same time? I want to know if you could listen and record in real time 100% into the DAW. thank you!
@splash_gnr3 жыл бұрын
@@slandrix5240 Yes, you can mute the guitar track on the DAW so what you can only hear is the “live” guitar sound coming from the amp. The echo is the guitar sound coming from the DAW. But, since it is muted, you will not hear it anymore. There is no latency since you are listening to the live sound coming from the amp.
@splash_gnr3 жыл бұрын
When the DAW track is not muted, the overall sound is more like a reverb (like in a hall) rather than an echo.
@slandrix52403 жыл бұрын
@@splash_gnr Okay thank you so much, im asking because im thinking of getting one! Do you recommend it? I've heard that at the beggining it can be a bit disappointing, but as time passes and you practice in building presets, you can get really great tones.

The guitar is very good and easy to play. Plays and sounds just like my gibson classic. It has a slim neck. It will even look much cooler if you would place pickup covers on it. I definitely would recommend this guitar.
