This is extremely helpful to me! I never knew that when you put a stitch between stitches the "next stitch" is already kinda in use!

At the end of row 4 you chain 1 before you slip stitch but in the written pattern it doesn’t say to chain 1

The written pattern is correct. I should not have added a ch-1 at the end of Rnd 4 in the video, BUT doing so won't cause your square to be off because you won't be working into it in Rnd 5.
