Jamaal Khan ka Makbra :
Ropar, a city situated in Punjab’s Shivalik foothills and where Sutlej enters the plains is famous for its Indus Valley civilisation excavations, but city also houses this Mughal tomb, Jamal Khan’s tomb.
Jamal Khan was an imperial officer who spearheaded conquest of Kangra fort in 1615 and died in the war, and in his remembrance Jahangir built this tomb, and dates back to 1620. Nowadays it’s in a neglected state and is not preserved by state or central authorities at all.
