This is fire! Also, if you want to time your slide in sync w the song, 60,000 milliseconds divided by the song BPM equals one 1/4 note. Cut that number in half for an 1/8th note. Cut that number in half for a 1/16th note. Learned that making EDM so I could get my sidechain compression to ride w the song.

You can use alt+shift+up to bring your notes up an octave! Easy shortcut
@LMarquee3 жыл бұрын
That's one of my personal favorite shortcuts!
@ProdByClockwerk3 жыл бұрын
firstly alt? What are we, windows using plebs? haha. I kid. But secondly, THANK YOU (even though Jamal mentioned that shortcut in the video I appreciate you too!) I only just got Logic a couple months ago after having used FL studio for over a decade and trying to figure out the keyboard shortcut was maddening. I was just selecting the notes and manually dragging them up 12 steps haha. And I tried to Google how to do it and the first result was from the score magazine in an article titled "

im glad your someone who knows its uk drill and not ny as most call it. Americans always want to make out they came up with everything . pop smoke blew up because of uk producers and now everyone on it. we've been making 140bpm bass and drum heavy beats since the 90s. from uk garage to grime to uk drill. and it sounds nothing like Chicago drill. just the same sounds are used. does that mean heavy metal is the same as blues because of the guitar in both? no. big up for this, im tired of seeing how to make an ny drill beat in my recommended . ITS UK. we have used the same Roland sounds just as long as you. so lets teach these kids that not all good music is American. London has always made dark club bangers since the late 80s. we just took American drill and made it harder and thats a fact. thanks brother

Thank you for NOT talking hella slow lol rt
@JamaalAbiade4 жыл бұрын
haha no problem krissy!
@ProdByClockwerk3 жыл бұрын
Hey Krissy, here's a tip. If you ever find a KZbinr is talking to slow try setting the video to 1.25x speed/1.5x (You can go to 2x depending on how slow the KZbin is but it might sound hella unnatural and be hard to understand.) edit: If you do want to watch a video at 2x or even 1.5x but find it sounds too unnatural/jarring try keeping the speed at 1.25x for a while (maybe 5-15 minutes) and then go up to 1.5x and repeat but go to 2x. This will trick your brain into almost not realizing the speed increase and it'll be easier to listen to rather than going straight to 2x. However, if you do this, and then go watch a video in 1x speed, it will seem pain fully slow haha.
