Come on bro you being still one of the best strikers ufc has ever had you can't be serious when comparing hill/Perreira in striking! Perreira does everything and more that hill does and better he switches sides throws from awkward angles uses all 8 weapons his precision on each strike while having almost no telegraph in his striking on top of the power, his ability to get his opponents on their back foot and stear them into the position he wants them to land those all while managing the distance outside of getting reckless in the second fight against izzy is far superior to hill in my opinion hill should have a speed advantage and we can only assume the ground advantage because we haven't seen Perreira really try or need to use much grappling but with him training with glover I see him having a far better ground game then most people think. But still all the respect to you and been a fan since your ufc debut in 2012

When I analyze fights, especially waist fights, I try to see if the guy is really PROVEN Jamahal had one of the most random, lucky events in UFC history. THE way he came out as UFC PRO BELT DEBUTANT WAS VERY STRANGE He goes from unranked to top 7 basically doing this 1° Win Walker and Walker is better known as the guy who LOSES who can highlights on his dvd not as a fighter who wins. 2° Caught top 7 beating Thiago Santos. Thiago Santos WAS HIGH RANK before surgery on both knees, after surgery he is 1-8, Even outside of the UFC he doesn't win anymore and guess how he got that one win? JOHNY WALKER, it could only be him So he went from unranked to top 7 already with a lot of luck in marriage, these two opponents don't test his level The main thing comes now 1° Jiri injured vacant belt 2° Glover didn't want Ankalaev 3° Ankalaev x Blachowizs a tie 4° Rakic top 5 knee surgery Jamahal wasn't even close to the title fight, it took a string of luck for him to get there. Just one draw in the UFC to occur is rare I'm not saying that Jamahal is a fraud, but Thiago Santos and Walker, he's still untested when it comes to the top 4 elite in the category. Kickboxing against a retiring Glover, slow at 43 years old and you in your prime, that's not even a real test. Glover couldn't take him down, so it was a kickboxing fight, winning in kickboxing against Glover doesn't mean much I'm looking forward to Jamahal's next fights, losing to Poatan didn't prove that he's a fraud, but the next fights will prove his level

It is important to exercise patience throughout the fight. Experience will bring that. It helps if you don't through kicks or punches while off balance. That comes with experience, I mean the amount of fights you've had. Using good boxing in MMA is a plus against inexperienced fighters, it isn't as effective as it might be against more seasoned fighters. it can be against more stationary less experienced fighters. Side to side could be good to cause your opponent to lose balance but it can make it more difficult to connect without leaving yourself open. For those reasons I would pick Alex PEREIRA I don't think he will be as easy to connect on, with those reckless swings, like Hill's previous opponents. He is very calm under pressure and his experience is what gets him through this battle.

Hill gonna get smoked, he barely got by a completely washed Thiago Santos and he doesn't have the power that Alex has either. He's rushing his recovery for his torn achilles too. There's no way it's fully healed and he's gonna have a rough time exploding off of it. 2nd round KO for Alex.

Yeah, MMA math doesn't work like that. Glover was a good win but he was still old af coming off of a war. Jamahal doesn't have the crazy power you guys pretend he does, definitely not like Alex. Jamahal obviously has a chance but he hasn't fought anyone that good and has had very favorable circumstances. Add on the fact that he's rushing his torn achilles, the odds are not with him at all. Plus he's an emotional crybaby that's always in his feelings. Dude's gonna be sleeping.

Hasn’t fought in over a year and coming off a rushed recovered injury. Alex has fought 3 times since then and got the belt. Big money on Alex he should be a way bigger favorite

I really do think it boils down to whether Hill can avoid those calf kicks or not. He avoids them, I see him winning, maybe even relatively easily. He can't avoid them... he might be in for a really rough night. I do want to see who has a better clinch... 🧐

Compared with what your footwork should be at this level, well it's probably around a D. It honestly seems like he has no idea what to do with his legs half the time. I noticed Pereira doesn’t Ike body kick. He becomes desperate whenever Izzy kicks in there. Also, jamahal can’t kick pereira’s head. He is tall and will stretch his hands to block head kicks. You also need to get really close to knock pereira out like Izzy did. There is no other way.
