Wolter, you did a fantastic assessment of Jamaica and a very accurate one too. Your advice is spot on: leave the all-inclusives, get competent local help and go see the real Jamaica. Thank you for doing us proud.🇯🇲

I'm from Jamaica and I'm really happy right now. Your video really made me happy. It's a just got in from a Culture Celebration since it's like a holiday weekend for the country. We just celebrated our Emancipation 3 days ago and our Independence in gonna be celebrated 2 days from now. I was so overwhelmed by the cultural celebration of our country and now seeing your video made me even more elated. I am extremely proud to be a Jamaican and even more proud of my country. Your video has highlighted some of the best qualities of us as Jamaicans and of our country itself. I just want to say thank you for that. Thank you for showing the world what our country is really about and thank you for visiting our country.

Just came back from Jamaica. It was absolutely worth it to book Club Mobay in MBJ. It literally took 20 minutes through customs. Also agree get a private driver. Last thing. Take plenty of bug spray. Loved Jamaica!!!

Amazing review man. Thought that you were going to list as one of the shocks (especially for many North Americans) is that Jamaicans drive on the left side of the road. Guess that they know this by now, haha

The bread fruit is roasted over open flames wood fire, on the stove top and rarely in the oven and that's an example of what it looks like in the photo you showed. But it maybe also be boiled and that's when I'd has more of a boiled potato texture. Btw after it's roasted you can eat it just like that or you can slice it up and fry it. It's super good.

Thanks for sharing this information!! I've been interested in visiting but have heard a lot of bad reviews from friends and co-workers that visited or are from there. I have since crossed it off of my list but thanks to your video I will give it a shot.
