I don't think the rooms are outdated. It's just that Jamaicans used real wood for our furniture. It's just our style. Everything is made by hand.

In Jamaica, most of the hotels still have remnants of colonial architecture and style, which is very dark wood and kinda “outdated”. Sometimes you gotta get away from the American idea of the Wynn, Hilton and Marriott hotels being the only option. Always look for a four seasons internationally, they are usually great for luxe travel. Also, Autograph Collection hotels are really good. And for Montego Bay, if you want luxe colonial luxury, Round Hill is the best. And if you want modern updated style, Breathless or S Hotel are THE best.

We just came back from Jam Roc and had an incredible experience. We rented a mansion right on the ocean 🌊 and had a wait staff chef and driver. Next time I want to stay in one of the villas and see which one is better.

I went to Jamaica in January of this year to celebrate my 41st Anniversary. It was GREAT ❣ I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 3 nights then the Iberostar the last 3 nights. I loved the food and the people ❤😊

Montego Bay Bahai Principle was the Resort property we stayed at last year for my 60’s Birthday Celebration. Im in agreement with that the properties are somewhat dated. Overall the Island of Montego Bay is very relaxing. Give it a try Everybody! Jamaica 🇯🇲
