Beautiful sight! Thanks for posting! First time I saw both her and her sister Tami was on BETJ back in 2006 or 2007. When I saw Tessanne's name on the list of competitors, my first thought was "Watch this girl". Many people here in the U.S. (mostly those who knew absolutely nothing about her before her appearance on 'The Voice') didn't give her a chance. I knew better, and others did as well.
@imashaleyg11 жыл бұрын
Yeah she and her sister tami chin are celebrity in Jamaica her sister sings too as well but lucky tessanne got on the voice and win Jamaica is so proud of her its good to be a Jamaican especially me we have talent out here in jamrock so its a good opportunity to get exposer especially in America like sean paul even sean Kingston who is a Jamaican himself and sean paul.

Tess Ann is an exceptionally talented singer. She touched the bar for female pop singers that few have approached since Whitney Houston set it. Had Tess Ann continued in American pop singing she would have been a force to be reckoned with.

Iy amazes me how she getting so much love and support now where was same love and support couple years with her own music but once she gets on the voice and representing jamaica you'll love her and shes such a good artist ,,,,that's called fakness she needed you'll support back then other wise she would have never got on the voice to b heard
@taraty10111 жыл бұрын
She's always had her country's support. It was never a 'wagonist' thing. The Jamaican people have always loved and supported Tessanne. She has been selling out shows right here in her native like that Red Bones show she had earlier, not an empty seat in the room. People always turn out for her. I'm pretty sure you've heard her say she is well known and well supported in Jamaica, she just wanted to take her career internationally. She did that and we SUPPORTED her. What were we supposed to do? Sit down and pretend we weren't proud that one of our own, born and bred, was representing us in such an amazing way on an international level? People may not be big on buying albums here but if it's one thing Tessanne knows she always has is the love and support of the Jamaican people. It only seems like a, as you put it "fakeness" thing because she's now on a bigger platform where she's getting more exposure. I'm sure if you had asked someone abroad in the summer who Tessanne Chin was they wouldn't have been able to answer you. It's not "fakeness"...it's a country and their people being proud of the achievement of one of their own. Well done Tessanne!
@evoniac7711 жыл бұрын
No I known she was a few years ago
@evoniac7711 жыл бұрын
And yes it is fakness know that no one cares about you'll proudness like I said before where was the support for her years ago I never cared for her music then and im not about to b fake and pretend to now
@taraty10111 жыл бұрын
Evonia Carter That's you and that's okay. But you can't speak on behalf of the 2.7+ million people that make up this country. She always has been and always will be supported here. I'm sure if no one showed their support in such a magnificent and an astounding way, people would have been saying that the Jamaican people don't care about her and we not proud of her and whatnot, but then again you can't please everyone.
