This is a big win, not just for Kartel but for the justice system in Jamaica. The privy council exposed the patty shop business under the guise of a fair trial. I hope this exposure cause the relevant authorities in Jamaica to see themselves and to do better going forward. Also, for all the people who say to get rid of England, there would be no privy council to appeal to, the supreme court in Jamaica is where this would stop. Many in Jamaica are innocent, but do not have the resources like Kartel to fight. This is also a victory for them as well.
