He raises a valid point about making non Zimbabweans understand our songs. Keep the traditional mbira and drum sound but throw in a bit of English. Pple will say but Oliver Mtukudzi was loved overseas and sang in Shona. The question is, imagine if they could understand what he was saying? Even just a bit? He would be 10 times bigger.

Oh my gosh I've always avoided his music (for reasons I don't understand), but this interview made me very proud of him. He exudes optimism and has a high degree of consciousness that few people possess. I love that the boy is awake. May no one succeed in dimming his light. He just got a follower. His sooo humble.
