Today, I’m exploring the tantalizing flavors of Jamaican cuisine. And what better way to start than with the iconic Jamaican jerk marinade? Whether you're a fan of spicy food or just looking to spice up your grilling game, Jamaican jerk marinade is a must-try. So grab your apron, fire up the grill, and get ready to experience the bold and zesty flavors of Jamaica.
Ingredients:
1 cup of pineapple juice
2 tablespoons of vinegar
2 tablespoons of browning
2 large onions (chopped)
1 bundle of scallion (chopped)
1 small bulb of garlic
½ cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of allspice/pimento seeds
1 lemon (juiced)
1 lime (juiced)
1 habanero pepper/scotch bonnet pepper
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
1 thumb of ginger
Fresh thyme
Directions:
In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and blend until desired texture and consistency is achieved.
