13:20 that is escoviech the chef is putting on the fish.. its peppers, carrots and onions that are soaked in vinegar(overnight for best flavor).. its a common thing put on fried fish.. some people also put it on the fish as a preservative... ps.. we eat the fish heads too...

Bro,u make me laugh yo😂😂😂 I am Jamaican 🇯🇲 and I am Chef,a damn great one at that. Your reaction to this video is hilarious. Yes, everything in Jamaica are fresh and organic. For the fruits and vegetables are super organic and sun ripped and that's y ours fruits r sweet. For seafoods there are fishermen that goes out to sea at nights and early mornings for us to get the catch of the day. Our shrimps comes from the river,fresh and delicious.

You can prepare Jamaican meal by yourself, there’s a lot of Jamaican KZbinrs that shows people from around the world to prepare our meal. Depends on where you are if you cannot get the ingredients there, you can get them ship to you from Jamaica.

Trinidad recipes are knocked off Jamaican recipes. They are adopting a lot of Jamaica's culture. I think all of the caribbean cooks good food though, but other than Jamaica, Haitians are superb.
