I agree with free play but don’t knock casual. You can still learn just as much or more going into a casual match. It adds the opponent to the variable and allows you to think and see what the opponent is going to do. Sure they aren’t going to be good nor will your teammates but that’s the point it’s casual and you are learning.

I’ve been a majority casual player with free playing focusing solely on a mechanic. My casual MMR is 1852 through bakkes. I play against pros, high/low end SSL players that mess around on casual. It allows you to play with them and learn if you really want to. Without having to worry about rank MMR.
