This shit is so stupid man, how are any of the devs that worked on Prisoners debt employed as actual devs. You cant make this up, even a 10 year old can recognize that this is too much. These people are trying to roleplay silly scenarios and having fun, not trying to roleplay real-life

Brother dev make mechanics but admin or management requests them to make . Dev aren't independently adding this someone asked them.

Its not actually a bad idea but its basically in beta test right now. They need to hire more DOC workers at all hours of the day so that RP in prison is more interesting, and so they can give out fine reductions to the prisoners. They also desperately need to improve the minigames in prison because they current ones they have are garbage. A good/easy solution is to just take the minigames from heists/chopping/roof running and connect them to prison activities. They could probably even add a Tetris type of system where the minigame starts off slower than the normal version outside of prison and then keeps getting faster the more times in a row you succeed giving people a way to improve/practice the hacks . The reason this debt system was needed is because people just go to sleep when they get into prison or watch videos afk until their time is served and then get released without doing anything in prison. Prison should be looked at as another place to RP, and not as a punishment. Also, the debt system helps make sure that there is always someone in prison. DOC had a problem trying to find people to RP with because so few people were being sent to prison, or spending time in prison. Also this fine system allows people to skip prison if/when they really want to because they can get a loan or have a friend earn the money for them. So it still allows people to go asleep and wake up a free man, but its not something that every criminal will be willing to do.

people were complaining about cg robbing everyone non stop so dev had to make those fines and actual jail time

That ain't wrong. I heard about a G6 worker who got robbed by the same CG members 3 times in a row and 6 times by others in the same 24 hours. He didn't make any money, I was laughing but understandable when criminals farm civilians. It's simply too easy to farm civilians than to do any civilian or criminal job. Each civilian can give a couple thousand for every robbery which takes a minute or two.@@b0ost3rz

I like that they are making the fines higher. Crims were wayyyy to high in power. I saw a stream where crims actively robbed PD and civilians rather than actually do any progression or criminal jobs, if that was a one time thing or for fun then it was fine but they made insane money and were basically farming them. It was completely one sided, it's understandable for the risk to be equal to the reward.

Lmfao that's hilarious. Jamal, the OG leader of besties is in jail. Possession of firearm was increased. Why do they think CG is dead when they get caught?
