Which running back has the highest yards per carry with a minimum of 750 rushing attempts in NFL history? Jamarl Charles. 5.4 yards per carry. Let that sink in.

If Jamaal Charles had stayed for the 2008 season, There is NO doubt Texas wins the National Championship

They were the best team in the Nation without him. It took shadiness from Bob Stoops and Art Briles, voting Texas super low in the coaches poll,to keep Texas from beating Florida.

@TheoSprinkles There is no way they would have beat that 08 Florida team 😂

@@ghostwalker89 😂😂😂It wouldn’t have been close. I would have loved to see Tim Tebow try that stupid jump pass on Brian Orakpo and Earl Thomas.
@ghostwalker897 ай бұрын
@TheoSprinkles you are too delusional 🤣 Texas was not ready for that speed. Yall were also too used to playing against all those pocket passer QBs. Yall gave up 78 yards at 5.2 yards per carry vs a true freshman Terrell Pryor in the bowl game. Tebow would have ran all over yall. Just be glad you never had to play them. SEC defense is also just different. Oklahoma was one of the best offenses of all time statistically and scored 14 points. Tebow's 2 ints is the only thing that kept that game from being a blowout.

He would have a longer career if he didn't tear his ACL and his last two seasons at KC was marred by injuries.

Nebraska knew everyone was getting fired at the end of the year, and the DC was implementing desperation schemes every week. This week, we blitzed on nearly every play. Because Greg Davis as Texas’ OC was mediocre, it worked for 3 quarters. Once he realized that “getting the fastest guy outside” was a good idea, we were toast. A miserable footnote to a miserable year. Did love Charles in KC, though.

2:08 One of the main reasons Nebraska football is struggling: lack of speed. The staple point of their program was always line of scrimmage dominance and elite defense, neither of those are possible until Nebraska can incentivize elite, more athletic players in this modern era to come to their program (ie do like Michigan and open up that NIL check book….).
