I also heard the ESPN play-by-play announcers make a similar statement live, during the game: "It was clear from the very first quarter that the refs were not going to allow the Timberwolves to use the same amount of physicality and force as in games 1 & 2." Also, listen to your own DNVR SPORTS media .. in the first 5 minutes of their post-game show they said the same thing: The refs did not allow the physicality tonight. The whistles were used early and often. The Wolves did not adjust, but the Nuggets did. " That's your own media saying it. The game wasn't unfair. Officiating was fair tonight. It was just soft and very regular-season like. Which helped Murray and MPJ create some space to shoot. When the refs allowed regular NBA PLAYOFF physicality in the other games, Jamal got locked up 🔒
