I got mine at The oud Store. I've never smelled the OG. My first wearing, it reminded me a little bit like Bvlgari's Tygar. I like it though. Calming effect for sure. Thanks for your take on it!

Thank You! Yea it will sort of remind you of that since Tygar, Afternoon Swim, L’immensite, Imagination, and all of the other LV fragrances are all done by the same perfumer. Jacques Cavalier definitely has a signature sort of feel to a lot of his fragrances but especially his fresh ones.

Have you tried Megamare clone from Lattafa called Atlas ? Took me a couple wears to get used to it , but now loving it . Does not smell like a $40 fragrance , and is different then any summer freshie I own !

I often layer them. I also get better performance from Tygar than Imagination, YMMV, I bought the 200ml Imagination, not great performance. I purchased it because of a tester I got from LV when I bought L'immensite. The sample was beast mode.

Interlude Man is incense-heavy fragrance. So it clones you may try to check out. Ard Al Zaafaran Midnight Oud is one of them, or Abraaj Valour. If you have somewhere to test them, give them a try. Also, Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense, is burnt sugar, guayac wood, incense and a tad bit of vanilla to me.

Got my bottle. And maybe I just don't care for the DNA, I'm not sure. It smells quality, and I get the citrus, tea, and some neroli in the opening and mid, but the dry down just smells like generic lotion/soap leaning feminine. Is that how the OG comes off?

Yea you the original def comes across as a soapy clean sort of fragrance. I would say the Imagination is actually a little more floral than Saheb is. Saheb to me is more woody and imo in the dry down.
