I own a 1964 coup with 550 HP 327 and a manual 6 spd racing suspension, big disc brakes, leather, lowered 2 inches and at 145 to 150 mph my car starts getting air born. I ended up putting a 4 point roll bar with harnesses In it. I would strongly suggest this guy does the same.

wittynameguy my 1964 coup had white lights in it when I first bought it but I switched them out to red.

I've read enough about this car to respect it's (and the owner's) achievements and the build quality. I can understand the sleeper aspect too where everything has to look original, but the bobbing of those bodies in the cockpit just looks ridiculous (and uncomfortable)! There must be a good explanation for the absence of good racing seats, or even some kind of bucket seats with headrests.
