Then you're in luck. He played a game of D&D for charity alongside Lou Sanders, Phil Wang and Sally Phillips. Search for "Comic Relief Plays Dungeons & Dragons: Episode 2". There's also an episode 1 that has Sue Perkins, Nish Kumar, Ed Gamble and Sara Pascoe.

Yeah, it's weird that I've gone from being bullied for playing it back when I was a student, to being a relatively well liked teacher cause I'm the one who runs the ttrpg club. I definitely had a bit of gatekeeping grognard in me when it first started getting popular, but seeing students that would normally never get along become friends over the hobby has been really rewarding.

I'm sure that'd maybe get a polite chuckle around a campaign table, but I doubt it would have landed at all for a light frothy panel shows audience. I think there's a chance here that you're overestimating your own sense of humor by quite a stretch.

This may be pedantic but this is NOT dnd. DnD is more than just any fantasy game, it’s a specific rule set. Just calling anything fantasy related dnd is a bit like calling anything you do with dice Yahtzee.
@MortZar Жыл бұрын
To be fair even that description feels a bit lacking. But yea I fully agree, dnd is so much more then just a fantasy game. Especially when you take into consideration the many different types of campaigns there are out there, some are reality bound, some are about shows, and some are sci-fi. It just so happens that the most common setting is fantasy, but that's all.
