@@emmarie_1061 The joke is that if you do something bad (murder) and someone else knows about it, and they tell others about it, you don't say "hey you promised not to tell" (chatterbox - which means someone who talks too much) if you want to pretend you're innocent. It gives the game away.

It's funny that with James' last line, you can tell everyone was split. Some inferred his punchline correctly, and some just laughed. James Acaster, suggesting that a politician would be better served with questioning loyalists than unquestioning puppets or yes men.
