First saw James Adomian on Harmontown, and have to say his impressions are all spot on. The 'hooks' he finds to solidify the characters mannerisms are fascinating!!

around the 44:00 mark when they're making fun of the premise of Smokey and the Bandit because "why? did they not have beer there?"... The 2 guys wanted Coors beer, which was only available in that area at that time, not the one of destination. Coors has obviously since gone international and is available across the US, but wasn't the case at the time of the movie.

The live podcast thing I think is because weekly you're listening to them, so they are just always fresh on your mind, they also hype it up leading to the live show. If I'm a fan of a comedian, I might follow them on twitter, but I check twitter very infrequently, it's not like at the end of listening to a comedy album the comedian lists out all the places they will tour next. I'm signed up for a few comedians' email newsletters, but so few have them.

It is very frustrating hearing them talk down about comedy dynamics and praise 800 pound gorilla when 8PG has absolutely dropped the ball on recent specials they produced for Toronto comics while I’ve never heard anything but good things over here about CD. I guess once you cross the border their priorities change.
@georgebradley458314 күн бұрын
David Cross, it would be great if you cut down the swearing. It doesn't enhance the comedy. You're funny without the swearing. I think it limits your audience.
