2:44 James showing his true British-ness, he's willing to go the great length of making a song just to not have to a conversation with his mum about his feelings. Us Brits can relate.

James Blake is insanely talented at all 3 parts of music. The producing, the song writing, and the actual singing. He does it all, and he does it all brilliantly.

Assume Form is maybe his best work to date, and that's tough to say given the variety and quality throughout his discography. Even his first 3 EP's hold up, without the vocals, James is still a master of sounds.

When I first found James Blake and his first album I felt connected with his music and every album since has seemed to follow my life. Oddly enough James found himself and it shows with Assume Form which happened to come out when I met my fiancee. It’s just weird how a true artist beckons for you to feel their feelings. He’s one of the few who capture art in music form. It’s nice to see how he’s grown since back in 2010.
