Blunt is just timeless... This song will always be so special to me. I was in an extremely abusive relationship at the time but couldn't see my way out. And in the true definition of "Serendipitous" a complete stranger on Halloween night saw through my sadness and hopelessness... and helped me rediscover my joy and my beauty. And he probably saved my life and never even knew it. And just like Serendipity... our paths crossed on numerous other occasions but the timing was never just right for an "us" to ever collide. But he will always have a piece of my heart and I like to think, I have a piece of his. He gave me the courage to be brave. And for that, my life was forever changed because I did get out and I am no longer afraid... and I am finding my peace and joy again.

I have so much respect for James Blunt as an artist and as a man. He is one of the few who haven't sold out. Stuck to his love for music with passion and emotion and with variations that didn't make him a one trick pony. You can feel his emotions are real if you watch any of his live performances. I still remember when You're Beautiful came out and the world went gung ho over him. And no sir he wasn't meant to be a one hit wonder though he might have gone under the radar since.
