+nugent milicent Grandpa's cough juice is good. It provides such clarity. You should try it. The 70's was the top decade for hws.Ali,Foreman,Frazier,Shavers,Lyle. McBride?Williams? Where did that come from? Tyson never fought anyone of their(70's) caliber until he began fighting the likes of Holyfield,Lewis and, yes,Douglas on that night in Tokyo. They all handed him his jockstrap.

Media did NOT make Tyson a hero, at his prime he was a TRUE champion and a an unbeatable fighter. His power, accuracy and head movement was a deadly combination that no other fighter whether in past or present could stand a chance against. He is the most well-trained powerful fighter i've ever seen. So I respect that you could stand and fight Tyson, Mr Smith, and I respect that you could survive that battle without being KO-ed by the most devastating puncher ever . But don't talk nonsense! Because Media could lie to you but it could never possibly make you lose a real fight, only your opponent's feasts could and Tyson was a better and her deserved to win against you

Oh, he had the power to do it. Don't kid yourself. Bonecrusher hurt Tyson in that 12th round. If he had 30 more seconds he had a good shot to finish him. If Douglas could stop him Bonecrusher could. No man is invincible.

@@psier78 Tyson was very good wasn't definitevely invicible, he couldn't take a shot much, and did not have a great stamina. I remember seeing Holmes himself bieleving in all the hype around Tyson ( no mentionning his poor physical condition ). Shame to see a fighter like Holmes who has much more skills, having only few views on the net and Tyson millions. Hype by the media is very strong to shape people's mind.

Bullshit. He was tiring Mike out and manhandling him and frustrating him.. If the fight was longer the exhausted Tyson would have been knocked out. As a matter of fact at the end of their fight at the bell Tyson can be seen telling Smith "you got me" Mike tried to intimidate him and swarm on him but it didnt work. He should have just gone after Mike in the beginning and hed have smashed him. Mike was oveerrated. Bonecrusher was a big strong killer puncher that had the tools to get the job done

@@timbrown7039 Tyson reached his prime age 21, he was 23 in the douglas fight, 23 means he still had all his speed and punching power, reflexes and athletic ability.. in abundance! You're right though - Tyson claimed he didn't train properly for Douglas, But he also claims he didn't train properly for Lou Saverasse, Matter of fact Tyson was a 35 year old full blown coke head when he fought saverasse yet still managed to stop saverasse in under 20 seconds of round one, so douglas clearly had something special to do what he did to a 23 year old, undefeated, pre-prison tyson.
