James was All Talent hands down. Every single note that band is playing was invented, composed and created by JB. He was a super genius..without his funk r&b sound creation Black Soul music & Hip Hop would not exist the way it is today Period. #Salute The Godfather Of Soul

It’s the wholesome that counts one does not exist without the other. I’ve heard that he was the mastermind behind every detail. He was extremely hard on his musicians and they respected him regardless. He was a genius he got them to play the sounds he heard in his head. They’re definitely great musicians but without his genius and vision who knows

Yes that band was amazing I would never take their talents away from thembut it without James unrelenting will to have them to be a unit and a powerful unit together.. true talent is knowing to put those parts together ..when separate separate.....Without James Brown u wouldn’t know they existed
