Thanks again for finally reacting to this request.I agree that this was one of the toughest comparisons that i have seen thus far. However i have a different take on the winner. That being said lets start off with Joshua Ledet. Joshua was really awesome and his overall performance was phenomenal. He made the song his own and he sang with a great amount of passion and soul. I loved the fact that he did not oversing and try to do too much. He just stood and poured out his heart and soul into his performance. This was not just someone trying to make the song his own. Instead the way he performed this song made it seem that it was his song that he wrote. I agree with you that the band and the audience members complimented his performance very well. He had the best instrumentals and accompaniment needed to take his performance to the next level and he certainly took advantage of this and made the best use of the situation. Therefore because because he went all out to make his performance a hit i gave him an 11.98. out of 10. For the next contestant Brook Simpson. Brook Simpson came out like a woman on a mission. She came on and stamped her class and authority from the very first note. Her performance had everything and more. As you righty said, everything was perfect. She had a fantastic accompaniment and instrumentals needed for this song. Apart from the fact that she also also made the song her own and sang with a great amount of passion and conviction, her movements on stage was really exciting to watch. Her stage presence was excellent. She was on fire and she lit up the stage. Her movements were so fluid, clean and her energy on stage was really great. She captured my attention and held it from start to finish. Therefore for me her performance was on another level. That being said, i gave her nothing less than a 12 out of 10.The next contestant Louisa Johnson. Louisa did a fabulous job with this song as well. Her vocals were very clean crisp and clear throughout the entire performance. She also had and did everything that was necessary to stand out with her performance. Apart from her excellent and flawless vocals she had passion and emotion. She basically dominated the stage from start to finish. Her stage presence was also really great. In addition to this like the other singers she also found a way to make the song her own. Therefore for this i also gave her 11 out of 10.The fourth singer Gamal John. I agree with most of what you said regarding his performance. I must also add that it is not just about the singing and having an excellent voice. As a singer you have to have the full package. From the arrangement, the song selection, stage presence, your energy on stage, the instrumentals and accompaniment for the performance to your ability to make the song your own and being able to sing with emotion and passion. Everthing has to come together perfectly to make a truly phenomenal performance. That being said, I thought that Gamal John’s performance was incredible. Apart from having the voice to carry this song, he found a really unique way to made this song his own. In case you are wondering what I mean. In simple terms, I just loved the how he bent the notes and the many little subtle twists that he did with his vocals. These little intriquette techniques that he used really showed his creativity and it added a lot of flavor to the song. Even though you stated that it was not his fault why you gave him the score you did. In my own words you also stated that he should have just looked at the camera or found something to focus on in order to not be distracted by the fact that he did not have everthing going in his favor. However, being that he did not have the best band and the best crowd supporters in the audience, I do not think that he allowed this to get in the way of his performance. He basically did the best he could under the circumstances. Based on the arrangement that he chose, the band and the instrumentals i just do not think he could have elevated his performance anymore. However if these elements were much better the performance would have come together much more. However he still had great passion and emotion and an excellent voice. For me my major draw back with Gamal was that I wanted for him to use up the stage some more and move a bit more. Therefore, I also gave him 9.5.Last but definitely not least: Jennifer Hudson and Tom Jones. Despite the fact that they were not competing, they both were phenomenal singing together. They did everything right and much more. That being said, i gave them 11 out of 10. They both made the song their own and sang with a great amount of passion and emotion. However i do not think it was fair to add them singing together in this comparison. The reason for this is that it was two singers singing as a duet against the other singers singing by themselves. In simple terms two against one. I wanted to see what Jennifer Hudson and Tom Jones individually could do with this song singing it by themselves rather than together. Having said this here is my overall scores: (1) Brook Simpson. (2)Joshua Ledet. Yes i agree that Joshua had the best band, crowd support and instrumentals for this song. However there is just something about Brook Simpson's overall delivery and movements on stage that just grabs my attention and makes her stand out a bit more than Joshua. Don't get me wrong Joshua's performance of this song was outstanding. In addition to this of all the singers Brook Simpson had the best and strongest start to the performance.(3) Louisa Johnson. Even though I gave them all the same score Louisa Johnson edges out Jennifer Hudson and Tom Jones in a tight photo finish. (4)Jennifer Hudson and Tom Jones. And (5) Gamal John. I hope you enjoyed my breakdown of these performance. Please do not hesitate to give your feedback

Hey Craig thank you for the detail breakdown of each and every contestant and I can't say I disagree with anything you've said and as for your choice of winner I can't knock it either as she really was amazing and it was very close it's one of those photo finish between her and Joshua so I won't fight you on putting her first maybe had Joshua shown a little more activity on the stage and controlled it with his body as he did with his voice then that may have put him first in your book. I also would love to see Jennifer and Sir Tom cover this live individually. But overall I am very happy with the performers wish Gamal had a better setting to see him really put up a stronger fight. I'm looking forward to the next challenge from you Craig I appreciate you

@@daviean Here is my other comparison video request: Get ready. Here goes: In the next comparison video could you please do a comparison video of who sang it best between Roland Abante singing his cover version of When a man loves a woman at his audition on The America's Got Talent competition this year 2023 versus Chris Blue also singing his cover version of When a man loves a woman at the top 11 stage of the Voice in 2017 versus Joshua Ledet also singing his cover version of When a man loves a woman at the White House 9 years ago on April 9, 2013 versus Lillie McCloud also singing her cover version of When a man loves a woman live on Week 1 of the X factor USA in 2013. This should prove to be a showstopper.
