Great job, GA..thanks. You know, I noticed after you posted that Mind Power with the alternate mix attached that there’s a version of it on the payback that has an extra couple minutes that wasn’t on the original lp or in the alternate. I’m sure you know about it, but I’ll post it below just in case.

@thedirtlevel To be honest, I don't recall the 'edits' of Mind Power.. I think the 10.03 part of the original version, appears at the 14 min mark on the alternative version.

Google Account: I thought it did. I just wasn’t sure where that extra two minutes on my link fit into the whole deal. I want all the master tapes haha I could listen to nothing but those for the rest of my life and be happy. Lol

@@jamesgraham3116 The Style of playing that called chicken scratch is the use of strumming rapidly across the strings while alternatively letting some notes play and muffling some strokes - thus making a scracthing sound. The part that Jimmy Nolan is playing is single note pattern thru a wah wah - he is not strumming at all and not making a scratching sound. If you check out the studio version of "Cold Sweat" you will hear a good example on the verses...Jimmy Nolan is playing a single note pattern and Alfonzo Kellum is strumming across the strings and muffling the strings with is left hand causing a scratching sound. (chicken scratch).
