I cant remember how old i was but probably around 9 or 10yrs old & my mum & dad took me to the cinema to see some cowboy film as i was obsessed with cowboys & indians & played it with my friends all the time Well, as soon as i clapped eyes on James Coburn ... something happened that changed me forever...i fell in love with him James was plastered all over my bedroom wall, begging my parents to send off to various American publishers to send me weekly or fortnightly film magazines so i could put up James's posters all over my walls & even ceilling! It lasted most of my life, hes always been one of my favourite actors as was Steve McQueen He had a marvellous presense & wonderful voice instantly recognisable Same with the great Sam Elliot too, i must have a " thing" about these Silver Fox type men Also they were & are brilliant actors too Thank you for this, lovely seeing James again
