Abstract: In this talk, we discuss the polarization calibration of the BICEP3 which is a CMB polarimeter with the primary scientific goal of detecting signatures of Cosmic Inflation. Absolute calibration of a CMB experiment's polarization orientation enables the experiment to be sensitive to other potential physical signatures such as Cosmic Birefringence which is a manifestation of electromagnetic parity violation. We discuss the instrumental calibration and the systematic uncertainties which ultimately limited out ability to constrain parity violating. However, we also discuss our simulations of the CMB which indicate the level of uncertainty coming from instrumental noise and foregrounds. Lastly, we forecast how such uncertainties can be reduced by including more data and initiating gravitational delensing efforts.
