According to Rolf Wütherich, James Dean was a very well-behaved driver on the road. The speeding ticket was misreported and exaggerated, because Dean was fined for going just 5 mph over the speed limit. Dean had the right of way, so he was innocent.

He attended the Quaker church when living with his aunt & her husband, but he also made friends with the town's young & unmarried Methodist minister, who supposedly molested him. This Methodist pastor, (if he can be called such), had artistic gifts & introduced young Jimmie to bullfighting, etc. He was one of the reverends, who presided over Dean's funeral.👺😥

His death was not instantaneous. He had a broken neck, which the ambulance carrying James, was involved in a minor car accident. It jolted james neck again. Back in the day, he did not have a neck brace en route to hospital.

Hi! I'm a big James Dean fan. I graduated from Illiñios State with a degree in Theatre Production. I went to school with John Malcovich, Laurie Metcalf and others who formed Steppenwolf Theatre which is in Chicago. I used to watch them perform and knew they would make it. I saw all three of Jimmy's movies and knew that he had a God given talent. He made those characters come to life. Artiscally, I felt it. I look at his performances in a creative way. It's just my opinion. Julie Harris was right. He was mesmorizing. Tragic of how he died. His legend continues to live on till today. Take care
