I was very glad to be there and had the great honor of sitting opposite Jim at his table, I met him again (for the 6th time in the past 6 years) at Doug McClure's induction into the Hall of Great Western Performers in Oklahoma City a little over a week later

NIc Fewer Hi, just wanted to say I envy you for getting to meet and speak with Mr. Drury in person. I just kind of got into his acting through The Virginian this past year. Had not watched it the first go around. I am so so impressed with him as an actor and person. I'm hoping is he is nice and genuine as he seems on the screen. They just do not make men like him anymore; or at least it seems so. Do you think there will be many more opportunities to meet up with him at some function. I live in western Pennsylvania and have heard he does do some events in Ohio.

Susan Dudak Mr. Drury is not traveling to events in 2015. He is caring for his ill wife. If he is able to travel in 2016, most likely he will be in northern Ohio at the "Cowboy Up for Vets' event in Swanton, OH (near Toledo, OH). You can find "Cowboy Up for Vets" on Facebook.
