I picked up a batch 9. 53.4% abv. Its a "ready to drink" bourbon off the rip. No heavy alcohol vapors or burn anywhere to be found. I found #9 to be maple pecan pancakes. Nose and palate. I went back a week later and the youth did seem more apparent. A lot of corn syrup on the palate. But we shall continue to ride the Pepper train and see how it continues to open up. Thaanks Trev!

Just cracked my first one, a batch 17. It’s nice whiskey and a great pour. Worth the price for me. It’s a little better value than other cask strength bottles I’ve purchased recently.

Great review Trev!! I get a lot of baking spices and it turns very sweet butterscotch with a rye spice. Also good call on the roasted nut element. I almost get a mesquite note too. Cheers!!

Try other batches, because they are quite different. They vary greatly! I've tried several, and Batch 001 was my least favorite.
