One of the giants when it comes to on screen acting, presence that demands your full respect & a voice that leaves something for the audience to hear long after the film or the show has stopped running. It's no denying that James Earl Jones truly was a legend in every sense of the word, not only in playing villains but also just someone that you'd want to look up to as a father to learn to be better and to learn what it means to live. A talent that I don't think we'll likely see again in this life. Godspeed to one of the absolute greatest.

It's been a long time, my friend. It's truly good to hear from you again! I hope you're doing well. I never got to thank you for all the comments you wrote along the way. It means a lot-more than words can say. Thank you! And yes, you said it better than I ever could, as usual. I first saw him as a young kid of six in Best of the Best, and even then, I knew his lines by heart. His presence was second to none, and he spoke with an authority that felt as though it came from above. It was only many years later that I learned he had difficulty speaking when he was young, which made me admire him even more-not just for overcoming it but for turning a struggle into one of his greatest strengths. To call it inspiring would be an understatement. James Earl Jones is to acting what Marcus Aurelius is to philosophy. As you said, a giant-incomparable and irreplaceable. On one hand, I often think time is a cruel mistress, reducing what was once great. But on the other, I'm reminded of that speech from Patton, where he says we should not mourn those who are gone but be thankful that such men have lived. And I think that's very true. Hey, don't be a stranger, and take care of yourself!

As one might expect, Disney blocked several versions of this tribute, primarily due to scenes from Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Unfortunately, this version had to be significantly cut to ensure it could be viewed on KZbin. Ultimately, Conan's intro still ended up being blocked in Germany and Austria.
