Nick M Clearly I'm not the only one, as the guy above agrees. (I think( I don't know, they're just really hard to read and very pretentious, in that noir kinda way. I tried to study noir, and I really can't get into the genre at all. Maybe I'm too young or something, but it's not my kinda thing.

Here's the issue: How can you make superlative statements like "He's the best artist ever" if you don't at least try to expose yourself to other artists. Beethoven's work is multi-dimensional and spiritual....... Ellroy occupies a much smaller and predominantly negative universe...... There is no Ode to Joy in his body of work.......
