To me, both songs are amazing, but they each tell a different story entirely. This one is obviously telling how a man doesn't love this girl the same way, while Rihanna's is a little more on the edge because she's dealing with another woman being in love with her. I love them both!

I prefer this original version since it has more latin touch than Rihannas. Nonetheless she tried to stay close to the original and therefore her version is good, too. And she has Laetitia in her video, the only reason to watch it ;-) Do you remember the Song "Self Control" from Raf back in the 80s, covered by Laura Branigan ? Somehow it's similar here.

For example, check the The-Dream demo version of J. Holiday's Bed. I prefer this song by Rihanna by the way. I think the contrast between music and voice is too big when Fauntleroy sings it.

The problem is.. James DESERVES to get big with his own album... but he just don't got that looks for being in the foreground.... the labels want 6packs, slim body and so on... even if flossy would lose weight a little, this wouldn't be an advantage cause his voice would sound different then!! whatever he is already making big money with his pen, you can find him on every album out there so he's cool with that
