Ya, it's almost tragic what sort of happened to Flint as a whole. For me, he was such a relatable character for me. Probably the only character I ever had a connection to, was odd. Minus the homosexuality, which I have no issue with.

The closing of the book in the end! This series has been one of the best shows I have ever watched in my life and the series finale was ...wowm I didn't expect it to be so complete and hopeful. Yeah, his ending was not so happy, but I guess it was the right thing to do for the screenwriters? It just kind of felt right. Especially when I think about Flint foreshadowing his destiny in TI, about happy life not being enough for him and all that.

WOW. This is one of the best song videos I've ever seen. It's so sad as it shows his choices and everything he's gone through and just how tired he is. But it also draws on the tiny sliver of hope as he is reunited with Thomas. Flint lost almost everything, but he still managed to keep Thomas.
