I can't tell you how many arguments I've had with rappers when I told them to give Mr. Gadson credit on their album/CD after sampling one of his drum tracks... They could have given Mr. Gadson a simple thank you for inspiration in the thank you section of the CD. It never happened, but put a wedge between my friends & me...

I remember in the 80s when I was backstage at a Beastie Boys concert in NYC. I met Mr. & Mrs. Linn. They gave me their card and stated that they were coming out with the Linn Drum. LOL, I thought they were crazy... Several years later, their machine dominated the industry and put a lot of drummers out work. : (
